Local Olympian Wins Gold In Rio

Congrats to Brianna Rollins for her Gold Medal win at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
The Miami Northwestern High and Clemson University alumni earned a 1st place finish in the women’s 100-meter hurdles.  Also congrats to her teammates Nia Ali who nabbed silver and Kristi Castlin who took bronze. Yes, a clean sweep for the United States in the women’s 100-meter hurdle which is the first time a single nation has won all three medals in the event.
