Mark Ballas Leaves DWTS for New Gig

“Dancing With the Stars” fans are pretty bummed that pro-dancer Mark Ballas won’t be appearing on season 23. According to ET Ballas scored an exciting new gig. A source told ET that the 30-year-old dancer is actually moving to New York City for a main role on Broadway’s hit show “Jersey Boys.”

Ballas started competing on season five of “DWTS” in 2007 and hasn’t missed a season since. He’s won the mirror ball trophy twice, once with figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season six and again in season eight with gymnast Shawn Johnson.

I’ve seen the hit Musical “Jersey Boys” in New York and Florida and I loved it. Good for him. 🙂
