Miami Marlins Pitcher Toxicology Report Is Released

Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and two other men were killed when their speedboat slammed into a Miami Beach jetty back in September and now the toxicology reports are being released. A report by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office listed the cause of death as “boat crash” but also stated that all three men had alcohol in their system. According to the report only Fernandez was legally drunk and toxicology reports show the Miami Marlins pitcher had cocaine in his system as well.

There is still no word on who was driving the boat at the time of the accident.
