For the first time in nearly 50 years McDonald’s is making a change to the Big Mac. The fast food giant said they are changing the traditional sauce and adding a spicy Sriracha sauce to the burger. The new Big Mac is only in the testing stages in Columbus, Ohio but if all goes well the company will roll out the new Sriracha Big Mac nationwide.
If you’re a vegetarian no need to worry, McDonald’s is also offering the sauce as a condiment that you can dip your fries in.
Also just in time for National Fast Food Day, McDonald’s is unveiling 2 new kinds of Big Macs: There is a smaller version called the Mac Jr. which only has a single hamburger patty and then there is the Grand Mac it of course is bigger than the original and has two bigger patties.
