Big Mac Creator Jim Delligatti Dies at 98

Big Mac creator Jim Delligatti dies at 98. You may not know him by name but we all know the two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun, aka The Big Mac.

Jim Delligatti told The Associated Press back in 2006 that McDonald’s resisted the idea at first but then the Big Mac was finally added to the menu in 1968. Delligatti, who according to his son ate at least one 540-calorie Big Mac a week for decades, was 98.

I’m not going to lie I crave a Big Mac often and have to have one at least once a month. Thanks for a yummy creation Mr. Delligatti and rest in peace.
